profile
I was born in Milan, Italy, on 11 June 1962, the son of a Danish mother and an Italian father. I grew up in Italy and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan, from where I graduated with a degree in scenography (stage design).
Following a six-month course at a high school, I moved to Denmark on a permanent basis in 1991, and I now live and have a studio in Nørresundby.
I’ve always drawn and painted and over the years this creative streak has manifested itself in a wide range of different ways and resulted in stage designs, theatre posters, various graphical assignments, logos, illustrations, murals, decorative art commissions and, not least, paintings.
In addition, I’ve taught children, young people and adults the art of drawing and painting at different schools and at different levels of proficiency, and have held lectures on subjects related to art and Italy.
In recent years I’ve concentrated primarily on painting, alternating this with the performance of commissions within the areas of decorative art and stage design.
